The First Folio of Shakespeare, prepared by Charlton Hinman, is based on copies of the 1623 First Folio in the Folger Shakespeare Library. The SGML (TEI Lite) encoded edition has been provided by the Oxford Text Archive (OTA). The electronic version does not include the original front matter (including a new introduction by Peter W.M. Blayney), commendatory verses, facsimile pages, and graphics from the print edition: The First Folio of Shakespeare. Second Edition (New York: W.W. Norton, 1996).
